Terms of Service
Last updated: 10 July 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and the operator of Drifttt for your use of the app and service. Please read them before you use Drifttt.
1. Acceptance
By downloading, opening, or using Drifttt, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old, and old enough to form a binding contract in your country, to use Drifttt. By using the app you confirm that you meet these requirements.
3. The service
Drifttt is a time-tracking app for freelancers. It is local-first and works offline; an account and cloud sync are optional. Optional features include connecting an AI assistant (Claude or ChatGPT) and generating invoices.
The invoicing feature is a tool, not accounting, tax, or legal advice. You are responsible for verifying all figures, taxes, and legal requirements yourself, or with a qualified professional.
4. Accounts & your data
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping access to your email secure, since sign-in uses a one-time code sent to it. You are responsible for the data you enter into Drifttt — including any personal data about third parties such as your clients — and confirm that you have the right to store and process it. You retain ownership of your data.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Drifttt for anything illegal, or to store or transmit unlawful content;
- abuse, overload, disrupt, or attempt to attack the service or its infrastructure;
- attempt to circumvent, disable, or work around the free-tier limits or the paid (Pro) locks;
- copy, decompile, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the app. Drifttt is closed-source.
6. Subscriptions & payments
Drift Pro is available for €2.99 / month or €19.99 / year, purchased through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or Paddle (merchant of record for web purchases). A single “pro” entitlement unlocks the Pro features.
Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You manage and cancel your subscription through the platform you bought it from (Apple, Google, or Paddle) — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled by that platform; see our Refund Policy.
7. Intellectual property
The Drifttt app, its design, and the Drifttt brand (name, wordmark, and icon) are owned by the operator and protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the app; they do not transfer any ownership to you. Your own data remains yours.
8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
Drifttt is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost — keep your own backups using the in-app export.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of Drifttt. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.
9. Termination
You may stop using Drifttt at any time and request account deletion by emailing support@drifttt.com. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms — for example by abusing the service or circumventing the paid locks. On termination, the licence granted to you ends.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Serbia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence are unaffected.
11. Changes & contact
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them. This version is effective as of the date shown.
